Jerry Price - - Instructor at Kickady Scuba Adventures.
As a driller in the oilfield for 20 years I have had the chance to travel and dive in some of the coolest places on earth, from Alaska to Africa. After the oil boom I became a nurse and worked in the OR, ER, Psych. And Home health. It was during my Tenure as a Home Health Nurse, that I realized how much difference one person could make. With a love for diving and my medical background. Naturally, I became very interested in the medical aspects of diving. Another amazing thing I observed from my oilfield days was the technology the divers were beginning to use, especially, mixed gas and underwater communications.
After combining my experiences, observations, and surveying other dive shop operations. I believe we have combined the best techniques and facilities for a truly one of a kind diving experience.
Here at Kickady we offer Scuba Instruction with our Basic scuba classes using state-of-the-art diving Technology, including underwater communications, and The Cis Lunar Mark VI Discovery Rebreather. The ability to be BUBBLE FREE is a great way to get up close and personal in our underwater enviroment. Add communications underwater which can create a level of comfort that is unparallel in the industry.
We have added a platform to simulate Boat diving. " Giant Stride" or" back roll" . These are 2 techniques that are commonly used when diving from a boat. Our whole goal is to teach you to handle yourself independently, safely and how to have fun. We do not sugar coat Scuba Diving. I will say if you are looking for a quick C-Card, we are not for you. But if you want to be well trained and have a better understanding of why and when to apply these skills then you have come to the right place.
We also teach DAN O2 Provider, NAUI CPR First Aid and AED with an emphasis on Diving safety. All Coast Guard Approved.
We can take you from a basic scuba diver to Instructor in comfort and safety at your pace. No crowded classes, no rushed tests, No Pressure. We have designed a resort style pool, covered and heated, with your comfort in mind. Our own air compressor, and a full dive shop offering Ocean Reef, XSScuba, TUSA, and Poseidon lines of Regulators,BeSeas,Masks and Fins. And the new CisLunar Mark VI Discovery. A POSEIDON Recreational Rebreather that will soon change the way we dive.
We offer many trips including, Texas Dive spots, Gulf and Lakes, as well as exotic trips . Come by and see us at Kickady Scuba Adventures where we can offer you an adventure of a lifetime or a lifetime of adventure.

We are off the beaten path, but really easy to find. We have 2 acres of commercial property in Lake Chateau Woods. Nestled in the trees you will find us, Scuba shop, Air Fill, Pool, Bath House along with a classroom.
